Alan W. Connell was born and raised on a farm in Hollonville, a small town in Pike County, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1973 with honors receiving a BBA in accounting and from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1976.
After graduating from law school, Alan moved to Thomaston, Georgia, to begin the practice of law, concentrating on personal injury and divorce. Alan has recovered millions in damages for clients injured in automobile and truck collisions, including eight (8) cases where the total recovery equaled or exceeded $1,000,000.
Alan has also developed an extensive family law practice, working with clients to seek answers to the emotional, financial, and life-changing problems associated with divorce. His practice area includes Fayette, Spalding, Upson, Pike, Coweta, Meriwether, Lamar, Butts, Monroe, Henry, and Troup. He is licensed to practice in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals of the United States.

DeAnn Wheeler was born and raised in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. She graduated from Clayton State College in 1995 with a B.B.A. in accounting, and from John Marshall Law School, cum laude, in 1998. Her practice areas include divorce, custody, child support, adoption, legitimation, and personal injury.
DeAnn is licensed to practice law in the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, Supreme Court of the State of Georgia, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia.
DeAnn serves the Upson County community and the surrounding counties. Deann has been appointed as City Attorney for Thomaston. She also serves through her position as a member of the Board at the Upson Regional Medical Center. DeAnn served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Southern Crescent Technical College.
